Premier League defending champions, Chelsea have been hit with a severe blow on Friday evening, April 20, following the death of their former star player Roy Bentley. Roy Bentley was the one that skippered the Blues to their first ever top-flight title in 1955 and died at the age of 93. The deceased who also played for Fulham and QPR during his active playing time top-scored at Stamford Bridge seven years in a row. Chelsea have however confirmed the demise of their ex powerful goal-poacher who netted 150 times in 367 games for the Blues.
In a series of tweet thread by the league giant, Chelsea Football Club laments the demise of the legend.
