The 22-year-old, identified by cops as Rohan to protect his mum’s identity, snuck into his 46-year-old mother's room and gagged her on her bed as she slept. The woman is said to have woken up only for Rohan to pretend he was looking for a glass of water, then he pounced on her and raped her.

Neighbors said they heard the struggle from the next room but did not call police because the family were often heard fighting.

Rohan, who was addicted to watching porn on his mobile phone, was arrested in Patan, India. Cops said he would often sit in bed watching porn all night and even watched them in front of his mum and sister.

After the rape, the woman told her husband and he and their eldest son convinced her to call the police. The victim then went to police to report the harrowing attack. She also told officers her son had previously made sexual advances towards her. Police say she has been left "in deep shock" and "mentally disturbed" following the alleged attack, according to local media.

Police inspector S M Rabari said: "Rohan has been arrested. We have also sent the accused and the woman for medical examination."

We rob stranded motorists with a toy gun – Suspect arrested while beating his girlfriend.

A 20 year old man arrested by operatives of Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command, has confessed that his gang use a toy gun to rob stranded motorists around Adeniji Adele end of the Third Mainland Bridge. .

The suspect, Rilwan Wasiu from Oyo State, was arrested last week Thursday at Adeniji Adele under bridge around 10:00 p.m. while he was fighting with his girlfriend.

The officers sighted Wasiu beating his girlfriend late at night by the road side. The officers stopped to mediate in the dispute when a toy gun fell off his body.

He had attempted to run away immediately the toy gun fell, when he was promptly apprehended and taken to the RRS Headquarters.

On further interrogation, the suspect disclosed that he is one of a 3 – man robbery team who dispossess stranded motorists and passers-by. .

According to him, his two other gang members include Salami and Sakiru and they operate at night after working as bus conductors during the day.

One feared dead in Ile Ife Explosion. [Photos]

At least one person has been confirmed dead after an explosion destroyed a storey building along Moore road in Ile Ife, Osun state last night. It has been allegedly reported by sources in the area that the explosion is most likely from an improvised explosive device.

An unidentified man, who was reported critically injured at the back of the building, was subsequently rushed to the Obafemi Awolowo Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC), Ile-Ife, where he later died in the early hours of today Sunday April 8th.

KLINT DA DRUNK IS DA FATHER OF MY CHILD – SANDRA NOVO JACOB

Popular Nigerian musician and comedian, Klint Igwemba also known as Klint da drunk has been accused by one Sandra Novo Jacob of abandoning her and her child.

According to her, Klint Da Drunk is the father of her eight months old daughter, Annora Uchechi Klint Igwemba.

She posted online that she had the child last july, and she is tired of keeping it a secret as Klint has been avoiding his responsibilities.

She wrote:

“Klint Da Drunk is the father of my child. I can’t hide it anymore, cause I’m tired of caring for this child alone. I want him to play the role of a father to my child, Annora Uchechi Klint Igwemba.”

She explained that she’s being trying to reach the comedian to cater for her child without luck, and posted screenshots of when Klint sent her some money some months ago. She also shared the birth certificate of the child which bears Klint’s name as the father.

She added that for a long time Klint has being ignoring her and the baby this is why she is crying out to the general public for help.

Klint da drunk is married to his wife lilien Igwemba and they have 3 beautiful children together. Their marriage will be 11years old this year. He is yet to respond to this.

Community Protests as Gang Rapes Woman In a Farm.

Women from Okuni Community in Ikom Local Government Area of Cross River state on Monday, took to the streets to demand justice for a woman who was gang-raped in the presence of her husband.

Numbering over one thousand, the women, dressed in black, commenced their peaceful march at the police station in Ikom and proceeded to the Local Government Council.

According to them, the incident took place on November 6, 2017, when gunmen attacked the victim on the farm, and they are coming out to protest after watching the months go by with no justice.

Beyond raping the woman, the gang was said to have stolen 12 bags of cocoa from others on the farm.

Giving an account of the incident, one of the women leaders of the community, Maria Akpet, said the woman who was raped, her husband and some other families had gone to spend the night on their farms.

According to her, in the middle of the night, some armed boy attacked them.

“They brought out the (woman’s) husband, and other men that were inside there and started beating them,” she said.

“Then they took out their wives, tied the husband and then they raped the wife before the man and then the cocoa that these boys plucked and kept, they stole everything.”

The community reported the matter to the police but are unhappy with how it was treated.

“These two cases – the rape and theft – were reported to the police but in the long run, the file for rape got missing. The only file left was for stealing the cocoa,” Akpet said.

She added that one of the culprits who was earlier arrested after the incident was released on bail without adequate sanctions by the police.

The protesting community residents, therefore, appealed to the Commissioner of Police and all relevant authorities to wade into the issue and ensure that the rape victim gets justice.

Beyond that, the community is eager to avoid a repeat of the attack and rape.

Akpet explained their concerns, saying, “We know that, tomorrow, it might happen to another person again – especially those spinsters that don’t have husbands; they can even rape and kill them.

“That is why we are annoyed, the women are annoyed. Why should they hide that file for rape and produce only the one for stealing?”

She added, “That is why we came out today to say today is a black Monday and the women want to put a stop to it. Even if people are being bribed, they cannot bribe in such a case of rape. That is why we want to move to the police then the SSS, the council and then the ministry of justice with our placards and then to tell them of our grievances.”

Northern elders cannot determine Buhari's 2019 victory

Prince Okey Chemberline Adiaso who is a gubernatorial aspirant in Abia state on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that northern elders cannot determine the success of President Muhammadu Buhari in the polls. Daily Trust reports that the APC chieftain made this comment in his Obichukwu village in Isiala Ngwa South local government area of Abia state after declaring intention to contest the 2019 governorship. 

He said the opinion of the elders does not represent the opinion of the entire north. Adiaso said the opinion was coming from those on the opposition who knew the president has achieved a lot. The APC candidate said he shared the same vision as President Buhari which he believes would help him in his political aspiration. NAIJ.com had reported that Northern groups and elders vowed not to re-elect any northern politicians that failed to develop the region ahead of the 2019 general elections. The groups headed by Professor Ango Abdullahi met in Kaduna on Saturday, March 24.

In a communique issued after the meeting, they expressed disappointment in the performance of politicians from the north. They warned that they will continue to defend the interest of the region in the country. The groups condemned the spate of killings in the region and urged the government to bring perpetrators of the evil to book.

A handsome young man has been reported dead. Late Mopmi Samson reportedly died six days to his wedding in Bauchi state. His wedding was to take place at Winners Chapel on Saturday, March 31. He was involved in a ghastly car accident while traveling from Abuja to Bauchi state, in preparation for his wedding to Pheobe Masoyi.

His friends have taken to their Facebook handles to pen down heartbreaking tribute about the deceased.
