Arsenal ended a 3-match Premier league "beaten run" against Watford by scoring 3 times.  Before their win at Milan midweek, Arsenal had suffered 4 consecutive losses in all competition but today, they continued from where they left of midweek with an impressive start.  It took only 8 minutes for Arsenal to find the net. A tantalizing curl from Mesut Ozil from the freekick spot met Mustafi almost un-marked in the box and he didn't hesitate to nod that one in. The assist from Mesut Ozil marked his 50th Premier League assists which broke Eric Cantona's previous record.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got a second in the second half (59th minute).  Petr Cech registered the 200th clean sheets of his Premier League career by forcing a penalty save from Troy Deeney in the 62nd minute to give Arsenal a life line.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored in the 77th minute of the game to hand Arsenal a third.

Arsenal notably also got their 1000th home goal in the game.

Up gooners.
